The JCC and Friends of JNF Canada invite you and your family to celebrate Tu B'Shevat with us.

We are excited to come together as we welcome a "New Year for Trees" with amazing activities in partnership with Friends of JNF Canada. A winning mix of planting, arts & crafts, origamis and cultural experiences, we are also celebrating with an amazing performance from the legendary children's band - Sonshine and Broccoli.

Volunteers Needed!

Tu Bi’Shevat, the Jewish “New Year for Trees,” is a time to honor growth, renewal, and our deep connection to the land of Israel. This year, Friends of JNF Canada invites the Toronto community to join us for a special Tu Bi’Shevat Telethon – a day of giving, gratitude, and planting seeds for the future.

Answer the Call – Plant Hope
Our volunteers, students, and community leaders will be reaching out across Toronto to share the vision of Friends of JNF Canada. Every call is an opportunity to strengthen Israel’s environment, support vital projects, and nurture the bond between Canadian Jewry and the land of Israel.

• Celebrate Renewal: Tu Bi’shevat reminds us that even in the heart of winter, new life begins.
• Support Israel: Your generosity helps fund ecological and community initiatives – from reforestation to recovery homes and educational centers.

Volunteer Shifts:
There are 3 days of volunteer calling.  Students will receive credit toward their community hours requirement.

Sunday, February 1, 2026
10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Monday, February 2nd - 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, February 4th - 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
